Pastors' Wives Group

About The Pastors' wives group

Pastors’ wives face unique challenges. Pressure to serve in ministry, the weight of their spouse’s responsibility, and their own shepherding of others can be overwhelming and cause burnout. Often, pastors’ wives feel isolated and alone because they don’t have a safe place to share their experiences.

At Soul Shepherding, we deeply care about the unseen burdens you carry. We have walked with women like you through seasons of conflict, difficulty, and spiritual dryness.

Nan Popineau, pastor’s wife and Sr. Spiritual Director, leads this soul care group. She has an experiential understanding of the challenges you face every day. Her desire is to create a safe, confidential space for you to connect with other pastors’ wives in a loving, discerning, supportive, and prayerful community.

Through soul talk questions, scripture meditation, and reflective discussions, group members will have the opportunity to:

  • Experience a deeper level of intimacy with Jesus
  • Nurture authentic, trusted, God-honoring friendships
  • Engage in practices for spiritual and emotional growth
  • Give and receive empathy and encouragement
